Hello Friends!
Welcome to Thursday's Art Date, today's theme is Cupcakes. I'm sorry but Bugs Bunny and I are absent this week...I can't believe what's going on in my life...I had zero time to do any art this week. My time has been spent caretaking my pets and trying to deal with my depression and going to therapy.
I'll just add the link widget below, please enjoy each other's art creations. Love to all of you!! ♥

Rain I am sorry for the, one-thing-after-another time in you life. Hold on and take one thing at a time. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteSorry sorry to hear. I hope he's on the mend. & you get some rest too.
ReplyDeleteSending all love to you and Leo. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteSending you and your pets best wishes, Rain! I hope you all feel better soon. Depression is a sonovabitch.
ReplyDeleteI have found that one of the hardest realities in life is losing a pet even though it is inevitable and something we all have to accept when we add a pet to our family ... the chances are good that you will out live them. My heart goes out to you and Leo. I know your pain and on top of depression it surely must be unbearable. It is a time to call on yourself to be strong. My friend has had every pet she has lost cremated and has written in her will that they all be added to her coffin so they will be together forever ... She finds comfort in that and I think we all know that leaving us in body never means leaving us in mind or heart. Hopefully Leo will recover, though liver disease is hard. My thoughts are with you Rain ...

Hello Rain. I'm so sorry to hear that Leo is doing poorly. I do hope you can manage to help him. Depression is a "long and winding road" sometimes, but there is definitely hope. It might be a combination of things that helps pull you out of it. Hang in there my Canadian friend! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteDear Rain, I too have been absent from blog reading, but was saddened to read this news about Leo and hopefully there will be a treatment to help him feel better that will not be too costly (but then is it ever not when a pet needs treatment?). You do have a lot on your plate now and it doesn't even involve your wonderful foods. Do take good care of yourself as you take care of your furry loved ones. We will be thinking of you all and hoping for good news when you are up to a post.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you've got difficult things on your plate, Rain. And I'm sorry Leo is now ill. So many good comments above. Hugs to you, friend. I will pray for you and your sweet family of furry babies.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs. You are loved. 🙏
ReplyDeletePrayers for Leo and for you. Hope you are able to find some peace and comfort in the midst of all of this, xoxo
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. Perhaps, music therapy would help you. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteRain, I am so sorry your beloved Leo is ill and that you are struggling. I wish you and your furry family well. Blessings to you, Celie
