Thursday Art Date: Fine Arts - Sculpture... ♥ Goodnight Sweet Marlene ♥

Hello Friends,

Another rough week for us here. We had to say farewell to our sweet Marlene. I took our last selfie together and I will cherish her in my heart forever. I'm an emotional gal, and this is so overwhelming. Please leave me a comment!  And to those participating in the art date, please don't forget to add your link this week, it will really cheer me up to see what you've created.

Thanks Friends! ♥

Love,
Rain ♥

  11. I know how sad you are feeling and feel for you; Marlene would have known without doubt how much she was loved and cherished and you did everything possible to keep her well and give her more time; I don't think the sadness ever goes away, so we have to focus on gratitude for the time we had with our precious pets and try to move away from the negative thoughts of loss. I expect your other pets are missing her too and will need your comfort. Thinking of you. I was for many years a member of an evangelical church who didnt have funerals as such, but celebrations of life when someone passed over, it is very healing to say goodbye in this way as it enables us to let go and to send out positive energy.

I know how attached you are to each of your beloved furbabies but sometimes the most loving, selfless act is to know when it's time to say goodbye. Those of us who are fellow pet owners and lovers know what you are feeling and feel it along with you as your loss is our loss as well. Marlene was blessed to be your loving pet and to know your kindness and care ... she will take those good feelings with her to her place of rest and your hearts are forever bonded. The pain and memories will never leave you, but they will lesson over time ... So Sorry, Rain.
