🎨😋 Thursday Art and Dinner Date: Foodie February - Drinks!

 

Welcome my Friends, to Thursday's Art and Dinner Date! 😊😊

🎨For our 🎨 Art Date 🎨, today's optional prompt is Drinks! Please feel free to share any art you've created, we would love to see it! Tweety Bird has his hands full at the coffee house with his café latté! Btw...March's prompts are all about COLOUR!!! Check out the bottom of the post for the March prompts!!!

⬆️⬆️ I did another watercolor study this week, this time of a glass of sangria. I would have liked it to be a bit darker, but I love how the ice cubes, lime and orange turned out! The video will be up on Rain Frances Art's YouTube Channel next blog post! 

⬆️⬆️ I also did a painting of water droplets.

😋For our 😋 Dinner Date 😋, I made more Chocolate Chip Cookies!

⬆️⬆️ I also tried a nice Zinfandel. I love the taste of Zinfandel wine. This wine has a smooth palate and a mild smoky finish. I paired it with a cheese plate! For those who don't know, the Zinfandel grape was exported from the Puglia region of Italy to California. The Italians call this grape Primitivo. The Primitivo grape was brought to Italy from the Croatians, and I can't spell or pronounce what they called the grape! I love Puglia wines too! This is a Rain Recommendation! 😍

⬆️⬆️ Prayers and well wish are WELCOME friends! My 17-year old Jack is slowing down, sigh. He's been sleeping a lot, moving slower and now has developed droopy eyes. He had a sinus infection that lasted 3 weeks...he's still a bit sniffly. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse again. He's my little angel and I know a lot of you have a tender spot in your heart for him! ♥

🎨😋 Thursday Art and Dinner Date: Foodie February - Veggies!

Welcome my Friends, to Thursday's Art and Dinner Date! 😊😊

🎨For our 🎨 Art Date 🎨, today's optional prompt is Veggies! Please feel free to share any art you've created, we would love to see it!  Bugs Bunny has had a great carrot harvest (I'm jealous!). Now he has to figure out how to preserve and cook them all!

⬆️⬆️ I'm continuing my art classes and I love them, mainly watercolour lessons. Here is a watercolour carrot study!

⬆️⬆️ Just over one year ago, we lost our husky girl Charlie. I've been wanting to make a Tribute Video for my dogs for a long time now, and I figured the time has come! 🐶💖 (It's mostly about the dogs, but I did mention the cats in there too!)

😋For our 😋 Dinner Date 😋, I made a fun meal! I took tortillas and smooshed them into little baking tins and baked them for 10 minutes at 350 F and they turned into little burrito bowls! I made vegan cheese - the orange stuff, (I will be sharing this recipe soon, it's fantastic); and added a bean/salsa mix and some fresh lettuce on top. 

⬆️⬆️ I made my Overnight No Knead White Bread this week. This is SO easy my friends!

⬆️⬆️ I had a yen for some garlic bread too, so I put my no knead bread to good use! I made some garlic bread to go with a pasta dish using my Homemade Garlic Butter!

🎨For our 🎨 Art Date 🎨, today's optional prompt is Fruit! Please feel free to share any art you've created, we would love to see it! Does a Cherry Blossom chocolate bar count as a fruit? Tweety Bird thinks so! I used to LOVE that candy bar! Do you remember the commercial?

⬆️⬆️ This was the commercial I remember from when I was a kid in the 1970's! Does this bring back memories for anyone?

⬆️⬆️ I've been deep into art courses and I used some of the glazing techniques I learned in my studies for this watercolor pear study.

😋For our 😋 Dinner Date 😋, I made some Zucchini Bread! I replaced the eggs with some applesauce to make this a vegan treat.

I used my Homemade Unsweetened Applesauce and it was delicious!

⬆️⬆️ Many of you know Nicole from DVArtist, Art, Food, Gardening blog. She is a sweet and very talented friend. She sent me one of her faces. I adore it!
